„The Dream of the Moving Sculpture“ von Zohar Gotesman [23.08.–24.10.2018]
Vorgestellt wurde im Rahmen der Eröffnung von Intermezzo 2 auch das Side Project „The Dream of the Moving Sculpture“ von Zohar Gotesman, kuratiert von Kathrin Oberrauch, Eau & Gaz, in Zusammenarbeit mit der Firma Nikolaus Bagnara AG.
„The Dream of the Moving Sculpture“ ist eine skulpturale wie auch performative Arbeit, die sich immer wieder verändert und neugestaltet. Ihre Dynamik lebt im Gegenspiel zu der Stagnation des Monuments und widerstrebt jeglicher ideologischer Vereinnahmung von Geschichte. Am Ende der dreimonatigen Transformation bleibt ein groteskes Mashup verschiedenster Epochen übrig: Ein verwüsteter Kriegsschauplatz des Konflikts zwischen Geschichte und Gegenwart.

Durante l’inaugurazione di Intermezzo 2 è stato presentato anche il side project “The Dream of the Moving Sculpture” di Zohar Gotesman, curato da Kathrin Oberrauch, Eau & Gaz, e in collaborazione con la ditta Nikolaus Bagnara Spa.
“The Dream of the Moving Sculpture” è un’opera scultorea e performativa che cambia e si ridisegna continuamente. Le sue dinamiche si oppongono alla ristagno del monumento e resistono a qualsiasi appropriazione ideologica della storia. Dopo tre mesi di trasformazione, quel che rimane è un grottesco “mashup” di varie epoche: un teatro di guerra devastato dal conflitto tra la storia e il presente.
